وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا ١

By (the winds) that scatter dust.

وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا

By (the winds)

that scatter

dust.

فَالْحَامِلَاتِ وِقْرًا ٢

And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;

فَالْحَامِلَاتِ

And (the clouds) that bear

وِقْرًا

heavy weight of water

فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا ٣

And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness;

فَالْجَارِيَاتِ

(the ships) that float

يُسْرًا

with ease and gentleness

فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا ٤

And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command;

فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ

And those (angels) who distribute

أَمْرًا

(provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command;

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ ٥

Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true.

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ

Verily, that which you are promised

لَصَادِقٌ

is surely true.

وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ لَوَاقِعٌ ٦

And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen.

وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ

And verily, the Recompense

لَوَاقِعٌ

is sure to happen

وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ ٧

By the heaven full of paths,

وَالسَّمَاءِ

By the heaven

ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ

full of paths

إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ ٨

Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran).

إِنَّكُمْ

Certainly, you

لَفِي قَوْلٍ

are in a statement

مُّخْتَلِفٍ

different ideas

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ ٩

Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah).

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ

مَنْ أُفِكَ

is he who is turned aside

therefrom is he who is turned aside

(i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran)

by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah

قُتِلَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ ١٠

Cursed be the liars,

قُتِلَ

Cursed be

الْخَرَّاصُونَ

the liars

الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ ١١

Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter),

الَّذِينَ هُمْ

Who are

فِي غَمْرَةٍ

under a cover of

سَاهُونَ

heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter)

يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ١٢

They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?"

يَسْأَلُونَ

They ask

أَيَّانَ

When will be

يَوْمُ الدِّينِ

the Day of Recompense

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ ١٣

(It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire!

يَوْمَ

(It will be) a Day when

هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ

they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire!

يُفْتَنُونَ

ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ١٤

"Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!"

ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ

هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ

تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
