وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ ١٦

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders.

وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا

And indeed, We have put

فِي السَّمَاءِ

in the heaven

بُرُوجًا

the big stars

وَزَيَّنَّاهَا

and We beautified it

لِلنَّاظِرِينَ

for the beholders

وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ ١٧

And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil).

وَحَفِظْنَاهَا

And We have guarded it

مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ

from every outcast Shaitan (devil)

إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ ١٨

Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire.

إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ

Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing

فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

he is pursued by a clear flaming fire

وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ ١٩

And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion.

وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا

And the earth We spread out

وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ

and placed therein firm mountains

وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion

وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ ٢٠

And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals].

وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا

And We have provided therein

مَعَايِشَ

means of living

وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ

for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]

وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ٢١

And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure.

وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ

And there is not a thing

إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ

but with Us are the stores thereof.

وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ

And We send it not down

إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

except in a known measure.

وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ ٢٢

And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like].

وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ

And We send the winds fertilizing

فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً

then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky

فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ

and We gave it to you to drink

وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ

and it is not you who are the owners of its stores

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ ٢٣

And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors.

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ

And certainly We!

نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ

We it is Who give life, and cause death,

وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ

and We are the Inheritors.

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ ٢٤

And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards.

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا

and indeed, We know

الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ

the first generations of you who had passed away

وَلَقَدْ

the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ ٢٥

And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ

And verily, your Lord will gather them together.

إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
