ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ١٣
A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam).
- ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ

وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنَ الْآخِرِينَ ١٤
And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations).

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ ١٥
(They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones,
- عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ
- (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones
مُّتَّكِئِينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَابِلِينَ ١٦
Reclining thereon, face to face.
- مُّتَّكِئِينَ عَلَيْهَا

يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ ١٧
They will be served by immortal boys,
- يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ

- وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ

بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ ١٨
With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine,
- بِأَكْوَابٍ
- With cups,
- وَأَبَارِيقَ
- and jugs,
- وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ
- and a glass from the flowing wine,
لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ ١٩
Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication.
- لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا
- they will get neither any aching of the head
- وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ
- nor any intoxication
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ ٢٠
And fruit; that they may choose.
- وَفَاكِهَةٍ
- And fruit;
- مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ
- that they may choose.
وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ٢١
And the flesh of fowls that they desire.
- وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ
- And the flesh of fowls
- مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
- that they desire
وَحُورٌ عِينٌ ٢٢
And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious),
- وَحُورٌ عِينٌ
- And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes
كَأَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمَكْنُونِ ٢٣
Like unto preserved pearls.
- كَأَمْثَالِ

- الْمَكْنُونِ
- preserved
جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ٢٤
A reward for what they used to do.

- بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا ٢٥
No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.).
- لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا
- They will not hear therein

- وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا

إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَامًا سَلَامًا ٢٦
But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)!
